DESCRIPTION
In the High Street Edinburgh stands John Knox house, built in the 15th century and largely unaltered since the 1550's when the Mosman family, Goldsmiths to Mary Queen of Scots, remodelled the house. John Knox was founder of the Presbyterian Church but only lived there for a short time before his death in 1572.
